What exactly is STU?
A social app built around making things instead of watching them. You join leagues, take on targets (creative challenges), submit your own work, and rate everyone else’s. The goal is simple: stop consuming, start creating.
Who is it for?
Creators who want their audience to actually create, communities and clubs that want their members engaged, and brands running creative challenges. It works just as well for a friend group as it does for a following of thousands.
Is it free?
Yes. At launch, leagues are private and invite-only. Join the waitlist and we’ll let you know when you can get in.
What can people compete in?
Anything that can be made or done. A guitarist runs a one-minute riff. A barista runs latte art. Hoopers run dunk of the week. Skating, fashion fit-checks, abstract art, card tricks, soccer skills, photography — the host sets the target, members bring the work.
How does rating work?
Every entry is scored 1–10 on a slider. You see your own score and the running average as it builds, so the feedback is honest and about the work — not likes or follower counts. You can’t rate your own submission. For pass-or-fail challenges, a host can set the target to a simple Approve or Deny instead.
Can I make it my own space?
Yes. Hosts set their own challenges, add custom league covers, and run their community their way — a clean home that feels like yours, not a generic feed.
